My friends from last month’s SEA Conference at UNCG have been nice enough to invite me back to speak and exhibit at their Spring Southeastern Literary Magazine and Independent Press Festival this Friday and Saturday.  I’ll be speaking at 4pm in the Maple Room on Friday in the session titled “You Can Sell Your Book.”

One great thing about this festival is that it dovetails with the North Carolina Writers Network Spring Conference on Saturday (as some of you may recall I participated in a self-publishing panel during last fall’s NCWN Conference at Wrightsville Beach). If you’re looking to improve your writing skills and learn more about the world of publishing I definitely recommend that you attend this weekend’s activities.

In Friday’s workshop I’ll be speaking about some of the techniques that you can use to successfully market your book online–through social networks, Google search, and blogging. I’m sure we’ll also talk about the new ebook phenomenon, and whether this path is right for you.
