“Introduction to Pubit” Ebook Publishing Webinars Scheduled for this Week
As I mentioned last week, we’re rolling out a new series of free publishing webinars that cover Barnes and Noble’s new Pubit! ebook publishing platform.
So far, I’ve been pretty impressed with their site and their ebook program as a whole. Like Amazon, you have a “sweet spot” of ebook pricing–from $2.99 to $9.99–that enables you to receive 65% of the royalties for each sale. Unlike Amazon, however, Pubit! authors can take advantage of additional features such as Barnes and Noble’s “Read In Store” program and their “Lend Me” technology. Definitely cool. You can learn more about all of this on their FAQ page.
Two new webinar dates we’ve just added are listed below. Just click the links to go to the registration page for these free webinars:
Wednesday, October 20th, at 7pm EDT- Click here to register
Friday, October 22nd, at 1pm EDT- Click here to register
Also, here’s short clip from one of last week’s sessions:
Thanks again, and I hope you find this addition to be a useful complement to our existing webinar series. With all the changes going on in publishing–and especially with ebooks–it’s an exciting time to be an author! I wish you success with your book publishing and marketing efforts, and don’t hesitate to contact me if I can ever be of service.
Till next time, keep publishing!
Henry

Hi! my name is Henry Hutton, and I'd like to welcome you to my new website--PublishandSell.com. I'm one of the founding members of Lulu.com--the world's leading online publishing site, and served as their Online Community Director, Director of Operations and Customer Service, and Product Manager for their Lulu Studio online book-building tool. During my time at Lulu I helped hundreds of authors navigate the often confusing world of self-publishing. Not surprisingly, when we started Lulu in 2003 people referred to our free online publishing as a scam.
